WAKE FOREST — Planning issues for towns are more complicated than ever involving quasi-judicial hearings, conditional use permits and the like.
Wake Forest is hosting a Planning Board Academy to prepare residents and those in the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) to serve as members of the Wake Forest Planning Board.
The comprehensive training will be held on the second Monday of the month February through June, 6-8:30 p.m. at the town hall, 301 S. Brooks St. The sessions will include dinner.
Registration is required and only residents of Wake Forest or the ETJ are eligible to participate. For more information, contact Planning Director Chip Russell at 919-435-9511 or email@example.com.
